HOW STRONG ARE THEY?
We recognize that you might have come across some versions of hijab magnets that just don't do the trick. But these magnets are very strong and are perfect for securing your hijab under the chin.

WILL THEY SLIDE?
While our magnets are very strong and are for the most part very secure and great at keeping your hijab in place, keep in mind that since magnets are not pins, you can expect some slight movement during the day as you talk, eat, and otherwise move your jaw. These types of movements are what caused straight pins to snag and tear your hijab in the past -- but since there is not a sharp point on a magnet, they will slide across the fabric instead of tearing. You should avoid pushing the clasps too tight against your skin, as this will help them stay in place. If you are wearing a thinner hijab, then you can expect it to pretty much stay where you put it, as long as its not too tight in the first place.
